Indie Rock Ice Cream Social- July 10- Metropolis fundraiser

The Firebird is hosting the Indie Rock Ice Cream social this year, presented by TomkoBombCo (aka Mike Tomko’s masterminded projects). The purpose of this event is to feature independent rock bands, both from St. Louis and out of town, and have some ice cream while you’re at it. Serendipity, a locally-owned Webster Groves ice cream store, will be serving up sundaes that come with your price of admission. It is rumored that PBR is also a sponsor, which means a free tall boy to top it off.

Featured bands include local artists
- Via Dove
- The Dive Poets

as well as out of town acts
- Elsinore
- Lost in the Trees

The Firebird, an ongoing Metropolis sponsor, has been generous enough to donate a portion of the event proceeds to LOT Music Festival fundraising efforts. Admission to the event is $10 – again, this inclues four bands, ice cream and the possiblity of a PBR or two. This event will most likely sell out, so make sure to get there early before the sundaes melt!
