Fundraising

Aaron Black

The Fundraising committee is responsible for raising money for Metropolis and its projects. This group contacts and meets with potential individual and corporate funders, develops ideas for fundraising events, works with Metropolis project leaders in need of funding, sends thank you notes to funders, and keeps funders updated on Metropolis activities.

Marketing

The Marketing committee is the media liaison for Metropolis, developing marketing materials, issuing press releases, raising awareness and garnering publicity for the mission, projects and events of Metropolis. This office creates and maintains relationships with local media and works with our advertising, public relations, and media placement agencies. Responsibilities also include maintaining our press kit, business cards, stationary, and brochures.

Membership

The Membership committee is responsible for membership information, benefits, and recruitment. This group oversees our membership database administrator, who maintains the membership database and handles membership mailings. The Membership Chair answers inquiries from current and prospective members, with the help of the committee, recruits new members via information tables at various events, and solicits and maintains special discounts and privileges provided by the Metropolis membership cards.

This Project Group focuses on cultivating the next generation of St. Louis' leaders. They work to expand leadership and public service opportunities for people in their 20s and 30s.

This Project Group focuses on addressing policy issues ~ growth management, city charter reform, race relations, development incentives, etc. with the goal of moving from dialogue to action.

Perception/Living Environment
